Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What should I prepare for my consultation?

Please prepare a list of doctors, medications, your Medicare card (if you have one) as well as your current insurance card. Our team will help you assess your situation confidentially.

Q: How long do consultations last?

We’ll take as long as you need to fully understand your situation as well as help you create a plan for Medicare. Typically consultations last between 30-40 minutes.

Q: Is there a cost for your services?

There is no cost to you as an individual for our services. We’re an employee benefit paid for by employers. In cases where we help you enroll in a plan, we also receive a fee from the insurance companies as your agent. The prices are the same whether you enroll through us or through the insurance companies directly. Our services are also available after you leave work for as long as you’d like at no cost to you.

Q: Where do the consultations take place?

The majority of our consultations will take place via phone or video chat. We can certainly converse with you via typed chat, text, or email as well.

Q: What can I expect from my consultation?

Our team of Medicare experts will help you make sense of when to enroll, what options will fit your needs, as well as how to enroll.

Q:What happens when I decide to enroll?

Once you decide on your options, our team will assist you with paperwork as well as in most cases process your applications to ensure that everything is taken care of.

Q: What if I am not able to make it to my consultation?

No worries! Please let our team know either via the scheduling link, sending us an email at help@doctorschoiceusa.com or giving us a call at 1-800-656-0894.

Q: Can my caregiver, spouse or dependent attend the consultation?

Absolutely! As long as you feel comfortable with whomever you bring - we’re ok with it too!

We do have multilingual team members and can accommodate when available. Please let us know if you have a language barrier.
